Default 240sx Motoring/CIP - Club Sponsor

Some of you may remember what crap luck I've had with engine dealers...but finally was able to get an SR20 thanks to the help of Jeff down at 240sxmotoring. Like I said in the past, without Jeff the whole project would have failed and my 240 would have been sold with a baseball bat in the windshield. He helped me big time with the failures at Zerolift Autolab and then went as far as to drive down in his truck to JDM Engine Depot (which I wouldn't go back to) and help me pick out a motorset! The guys at CIP Motorsports pulled the KA for me and did the entire SR swap for all the parts listed below.

Parts ordered through Jeff:
Greddy M-Spec Intercooler Kit
Greddy Hotpipe
Greddy Type RS bov
Koyo radiator
Samco rad hose kit
Greddy MX downpipe
Walbro 255 fuel pump & kit
Nismo tranny and motor mounts
ACT street/strip clutch kit
AGP clutch lines
steel driveshaft
Catco 3" cat
Circuit Sports dual-tip cat-back exhaust
Apex'i power intake
Auto ---> 5-speed swap parts (most)
S15 turbo (since JDM Engine Depot sold me the motorset with a blown S14 turbo on it..no shaft play but bearings were shot SOLD)
NEW stock FUEL RAIL (JDM Engine Depot had cracked it when they picked up the motor)
new coolant temp sensor
new exhaust manifold and turbo inlet gaskets, a couple of belts, and few elbows...
Circuit Sports magnetic oil drain plug
NGK iridium plugs
STRi DSD-CS boost, oil pressure, and water temp gauges (with super hot CIP custom DIN pod haha)

Parts ordered elsewhere since Jeff didn't stock them!:
Plastic shifter trim & leather boot (West Covina Nissan - The Nismo Shop)
OEM oil filter and Nismo leather shift knob.
lower (upper) rubber boot (eBay)
A/C brackets for S14 KA to S14 SR (codyace)

I'm waiting until it's warm enough outside to give the car a bath and take some nice pics of everything. All-in-all I'm very pleased with the work Jeff did and his customer service is unbelievable. Of course, right when I thought I would be done spending money at his place the damn car, my alternator and/or battery just died.

Products so far I have not been impressed with:
Circuit Sports exhaust...out of the box paint (yes, painted muffler) was all scraped off and after a month it looks like crap
STRi gauges (yet.....)

I still need a few more things before I can settle down...this was a decent start though I suppose.

Haha wow, someone else posted.

Yeah, it seems he can get a number of certain parts other than what's listed on his site. So if you saw a part you wanted somewhere else, it's definitely worth giving him a shot first.

Default 240sxmotoring.com honest review!

Shipped fast, awesome prices, top quality product, and responsive and dedicated staff. Great company, I plan on using them for all of my major purchases.

But they forgot to include a sticker in my order!

sorry about the sticker. we try to give them out when we can. I can only make so many at a time. when we run out, i try to make more when i can which usually results in me only finding time after hours or on the weekends.

didnt tell me, told my friend who i told to call them after i told them they are good and have a race car so they should have the concept of what he wanted, since his s14 is also mostly track.

not exactly sure who he talked to.

they also quoted him $100 (plus tax) higher for stance coilovers picked up then all the other places offer them for shipped.

We would never tell someone to go to sears? Not sure where you're coming up with that.
