Default Recommendations for a smooth and successful sale!

Recommendations for a smooth and successful sale!
The list below is not part of the Marketplace Forum Rules, only recommendations.

Post multiple forms of contact information
Make sure people have a way to get in contact with you.

In the post, we recommend (but not require) you use the following format for consistency:
Name:
Phone number (if posting):
Email (if posting):
Item for sale:
Item application: (s13? s14? Lawnmower?)
Asking price:
Picture:
etc.

If you are going to post your email address, please do not type your email address as a@b.com - this will result in receiving spam mail. You should creatively scramble it so a computer can't decipher it, but a person can (such as bubba *at* gump -dot- net)
Take a look at this simple Google search to see why: http://www.google.com/search?num=50&hl= ... tnG=Search

Post a clear Price and Availability
We recommend in larger For Sale threads that the seller update the main post with any price updates or items sold/no longer for sale. This helps keep potential buyers informed on exactly what is still for sale, and for how much, without having to read several pages of posts.

Post Pictures
Pictures help sell the item, it's not required but Strongly Recommended.
If you don't know how to post pictures: Here's How.

Post Professionally
Please also try to use proper English and grammar. Intelligently typed posts generally get more respectful replies as well as a higher quantity...it's worth the extra minute to proofread.

Please take the time read the rules before posting. Have fun, and fire away!!
