I will say that the pedal feel is a lot different and it does grip 100 % better than stock from what I feel..my tranny isn't totally gone yet and when I drove it home yesterday I felt the difference in clutches instantly, pretty aggressive imo

Ya its not bad for the price i would feel better with a exedy but till then im happy. I have been at a stand still reved up to 5k before and sumped second and gripped all the way till limiter so should be ok for a while.

Nice build btw its kool to see a sohc kat most people dont bother with em.

Nice that's all I need ..eventually I will get a act or exedy but this will do for now LOL. Thanx man that's why I kept the sohc, not too many out there everyone wants to go SR LOL plus u can pick up a motor set for less thanx 500 and they're pretty damn reliable too. Basically i just love the ka e its little ,fun , and cheaper to build .

Update:
I got some new injectors because my old ones were stuck and leaking. Cleaned my pcv valve ,coolant temp sensor, aicv, and air regulator. The car idles like a dream and runs even better now.my ecu is getting nistune board installed this week and ill be on the dyno within 2 weeks. can't wait! My AFR's have gotten better that they used to be its either the cleaning/new injectors, or the ecu just learned how the engine wants to run now but its running great and I'm happy . Here's another couple of videos of it .

Update: the car has been in the shop @rdz motorsports in Danbury CT for the pas few weeks getting ready for the dyno,so far they installed a new aeromoive fuel pressure regulator because the egay one I have is crap and its leaking vacuum, also they got the z32 maf installed and I just dropped off my 460cc injectors and clips so they can install them asap...they installed the nistune board and also did a compression test I don't know the exact numbers but they said compression is really good and I have no boost or vacuum leaks except for the fpr. I'm pretty damn excited to finally be able to enjoy this thing on the road. Ill be going to the dyno next week (if all goes well) and will be posting up the numbers and video. Can't wait for my 240 to meet all of your 240's ! Lol.

This is awesome.

My car is an 89' Had a sohc in it for a good year and a half. 156k when I bought it, already manual. Beat the hell out of it, until it developed lifter tick. Just recently swapped it for a dohc. I really enjoyed the sohc though, great fun to drive.

I left the engine with my friend in hopes that he'd salvage some parts from it for his sohc. Going to use this thread as motivation for him to start that. haha

So the results are in , the car made 251tq and 248 whp on the dyno yesterday, the tune feels great and I'm so happy with the amount of power this car now has.it pulls hard! I am having problems now with my couplers for the piping keep popping off. But other than that she runs lie a raped ape! LoL gonna take some videos today here's the dyno sheet and a pic of it at the shop.
