Default Microtech lt16 wiring and sensor questions

Hey one I have a couple question on what I can keep and what I can get rid of on my rb25 when getting a standalone.

I'm looking (dont know if i can so don't crucify me if I cant )to get rid of the air regulator, fast idle valve, idle control valve on the intake. I've been doing some research on the Web and im getting mixed reviews on if it can be done or not. One site said all I have to do is run line to the ports after the butterfly (q45) on the throttlebody for the air regulator but the ports on the intake that the air regular feed are much bigger that the stupid little hoses after the butterfly. For the fast idle can be removed?? Cause for a/c??? And I just don't know about the idle control (but I would say I can't get rid of it). I do understand that the motor need air at idle and the butterfly is completely closed but could I just open the butterfly wit the set screw to allow air in.
