Default rb25 hatch drift slut

Hey guys, Just traded my car for a new drift car project. Its basically being built for drifting but remaining inspect-able for a fun street car.
Car currently starts and runs but burns a lot of oil and there is lots of oil in the intake manifold. Valve seals have been replaced by the previous owner and it fixed the issue for a few days. Only thing I have done so far is a compression test and got ~170 in first 5 and 0 in 6. Assuming its a bent valve, going to take the head off this weekend and see what im getting myself into. More to come...

This is how I got it:
rhd swapped hatch with a full cage and a rb25 neo 6 swap

Pulled the head last weekend to diagnose the oil issue and found out the cylinder six piston melted and caused blow by, to top it off the block is scored to the point of machine work. The valves in cylinder six were also pretty beat up.

I decided to buy a new motor so i can use the car the rest of this season, machine work would have taken a while and would have cost roughly the same as a new motor, plus ill have a stock pile of spare parts. I went with another neo so the wiring and everything is plug and play.

I got the motor from jdm alliance in Texas, talked with them on the phone and seemed very legit, sent me a video of the compression test and shipping and customer service was very quick and responsive.

Swapped the intake and turbo onto the new motor and prepped everything to drop it in.

Got the motor in last night. Just need to tidy up a few things and install the wideband and gauges. Doing everything i can to get it ready for drifting this weekend at nhms.

Thanks guys.
Worked on it some more this week and the motor will not crank from the ignition. The signal wire for the starter solenoid does not get power for some reason, just gonna wire up a switch for the starter and use that instead. I did however get it to crank by giving the solenoid power and it started right up and held a perfect idle. I only ran it for a few seconds because I still need to install my gauges and a few other misc things. More to come

Time for a little update, been working on the car a lot trying to get the motor running 100% and finishing the small things.

I took the car to Clubloose North's two day event hoping to get some seat time but that was wishful thinking, got two runs in two days and managed to crush the oil pan.

Replaced it with the one from the blown motor:

I installed some fortune auto rear control arms I had laying around so i could zero out the rear camber.

Tire is a little too close for my liking but its either this or sunken without the spacer. Prob have to raise the coils a touch more.

Here's how it sits right now, I ended up getting a stock turbo for the time being just to play it on the safe side. Holset hy35 with a stock tune didnt seem to be a good idea. Things to do: coolant overflow, oil catch can, add cooling fans, upper intercooler bracket, and tidy things up a bit.
